Introducing CheerNet, the ultimate app designed specifically for college cheerleaders to connect, grow, and thrive in the cheerleading community. CheerNet provides a platform where athletes can showcase their skills, share achievements, and engage with others through likes, comments, and team updates. With features like personalized profiles, a search tab to discover new people and teams, and dedicated message boards for specific positions (such as mid-layers, coed stunts, and baskets), CheerNet makes it easier than ever to connect with teammates and peers. The app also offers a mindset tab to keep cheerleaders motivated and mentally tough, ensuring they stay inspired through the ups and downs of their cheer journey. I am a student-athlete at Ohio State University, majoring in Visual Communication Design and cheering for the Buckeyes. I am passionate about creating designs that tell a story and make an impact. For my thesis, I chose to combine my love for cheerleading and design to create something that enhances the sport and connects those who share the same passion.
