Interior Design, 2020
Mentor is a resource center and safe space for men of all ages located at 1096 W. Broad Street in Franklinton, Ohio. The facility is housed in the previous engine house NO.10. Mentors goal is to break down the social constructs which many men face today. The resource center hopes to address problematic issues from their roots as well as guide men through their stages of growth. Mentor's main focus is concerned with young men who come from fatherless homes and strives to provide them with the guidance and resources that they need to be the best they can be. By providing these resources and tools, Mentor hopes to expose young men to new experiences by connecting their known interests to their unknown interests.
Timothy Ritchey is a part of the OSU 2020 graduating class studying Interior design. Tim has been able to do some pretty cool stuff throughout the years as a designer. Starting out his career he was lucky enough to work at the Columbus Zoo where he has produced and installed over 70different pieces as a fine arts / exhibit design intern... Unfortunately he never got to touch any animals... approaching graduation Tim really does not know where his future lies but knows he would love to teach design/art later in his career.
