Mint

Mint

Interior Design, 2017

Mint, located in the heart of East Franklinton, is Columbus’s first health club that focuses on the healing of our mind and body. In Franklin County, the percentage of obese adults (30.7%) is higher than the national average (27.6%), and Franklinton just happens to be the highest percentage in the entire county. Mint will offer a multitude of different group fitness classes, high end workout equipment, and a cafe and juice bar.

Design concepts and elements are intended to flow in together to present an idea of privacy and confidence for the current and future members experiences. With special attention considered in sound abatement, texture of all surfaces, differentiation in levels, high and low lighting, material compositions, colors, and implied or conveyed direction. Caring for the society’s well-being, Mint aims to focus on the development of our spiritual enlightenment, and physical well-being.
