momenta uses augmented reality to visualize the periods of the Colosseum’s history, allowing tourists to interact with the information at their own pace.
Tourists want to absorb as much as possible about the history and cultural significance of a city. Due to financial and other restrictions, most tourists have very limited time at world-famous landmarks.
momenta aims to bridge the gap between historians and archetypal visitors by bringing history to life through augmented reality.
Hold up your phone and view history through the screen. As you move around the structure, momenta orients history with your location and angle.
At any point in your visit, swipe your screen to alter the time period. This will change the lens of history and allow you further exploration into a new era.
After you leave, view momenta’s recordings of your visit. Play games that further enhance the history and allow you a more leisurely approach to the content.
