Industrial Design, 2019
NEW TAXI is a taxi design that addresses women’s safety issue when riding alone. Moving the luggage area to the front, it ensures they are secured and also allows comfortable and roomy back seat. It has physical panic button for both drivers and passengers and a big window that allows you to clearly see and be seen by the outside. There is also a transparent barrier to separate you and the driver to offer privacy and protection. NEW TAXI aims to create a safe space for both drivers and passengers that eliminates most potential crime and reduces women’s concerns when taking taxis/ ride-shares alone.
