Passenger Experience Design with Honda
Boston Logan
Industrial Design, 2022
As technology evolves and grows at a rate never seen before, the interior of the car we know today is expected to dramatically change. In a partnership with Honda, designers were tasked to create a concept that would make Honda competitive in a rapidly changing world impacted by technology and create a feature that would improve the passenger experience. The concept born was from this proposal was to introduce speakers that use evolving audio technology into the top of the individual seats of the car to give each passenger control over their own experience without hindering communication. The speakers can be adjusted for the user simply by passengers simply by moving the fold and then be controlled and personalized through an app. The Honda app allows for passengers to make changes in the speakers and enjoy special features such as Pair&Share, where they can share music and other entertainment sources with anyone in the car.
