Prosper is a community-centric wellness center in the heart of Franklinton. Prosper acts as a healthcare hub for the Franklinton Community, driving on the concept that the waiting room is the heart of healthcare. Franklinton has been averaging 9-11% of its population with no health insurance and the average life expectancy rate is 67 years old. This is frequently linked with low socioeconomic status. Prosper’s core focus is preventive healthcare services and informing the community on how to implement preventative care into their daily life. Fostering an environment that is inclusive, welcoming, and inviting, the space will emphasize the importance of health and wellness, both mentally and physically.
The first floor is public, inviting, and inclusive. It offers preventive care such as check-ups, immunizations, screenings, etc. The second floor is private and quiet, offering mental health services and a nutrition clinic with a small nontraditional demonstration kitchen.
