Reboot: Rehabilitation Booth

Industrial Design, 2023

Reboot is medical system that aims for the improvement of stroke survivors' long-term recovery by providing them with the opportunity to independently practice rehabilitation. The rehabilitation booth supports patients who lost arm functionality by accommodating their needs outside the clinic and home environments.

Reboot serves as an accessible and affordable method for practicing rehab activities using the technology developed by the Battelle Engineering Team the NeuroLife sleeve which can help patients with arm impairment recover.

The booth's system bases patients' profiles that have been set by professional occupational therapists specialized in rehab for stroke survivors prior to the activity.

Reboot reinforce the patients to control therapy in a task-oriented rehabilitation while considering their mental health and social life and motivating them to practice rehabilitation activities by bringing the community together.
