The Rise center is a community hub supporting men’s mental health and wellness in East Franklinton. Members of the center are given the opportunity to work, find mental and financial guidance and share experiences with like-minded individuals. The development of the center will not only add employment and wellness opportunities for the men in Franklinton, but give the surrounding community members access to a market and cafe in their own neighborhood. Together, Franklinton can rise above the men’s mental health stigma.

Sammy Lody is graduating with a BSD in Interior Design from The Ohio State University. He is passionate about human-centered design and plans to dedicate his post-graduate career furthering his knowledge in this distinction. Sammy was a founding member of OSU’s professional architecture fraternity, Alpha Rho Chi.
