Ruminate is a mobile application and virtual reality experience designed to assist in the reflection and sharing of the past. Using an interactive, immersive, and virtual reality experience that will empower individuals to creatively explore and share their memories. Using the callout “Hey Rumi” triggers the application to begin recording sound, sight, and emotions as you experience them in that moment. Once memories are recorded and stored, users are able to share to the Ruminate network and explore their memories like they would a music library, including pre-made playlists of memory genres. Users can select their current mood and Ruminate will bring up alternative mood boosting memories.
Users can share live memories and experience them together with friends. Ruminate saves memories and creates experiences by fostering collaborative sharing and reflection. It leaves users satisfied knowing that their most important experiences are right at their fingertips.

Shelby Daugherty is a hardworking, creative problem solver. She enjoys creations combining fine art techniques and graphic elements, and is always looking for a way to incorporate both into her work. She is naturally curious and loves to explore every option and opportunity that allows her to push her creative capabilities. Outside of design she is ideally reading a book, listening to music or podcasts, running, cooking, traveling, taking photographs, or exploring nature. She is extremely passionate about traveling and exploring new cultures, whether that be within film, books or getting lost in a new city.
