Franklinton’s New Favorite Hangout

Connecting community by six degrees

Franklinton’s new neighborhood bar provides a historic, inviting, playful, and social community environment to create connections between residents, visitors, and the city. The metaphor of six degrees of separation is used as the starting point for the spatial experience. The theory states anyone on the planet can be connected to any other person on the planet through a chain of acquaintances that has no more than five intermediaries. The building grid guides users throughout the space to new shifted moments that create excitement and social connections, closing the gap of six degrees of separation. Six° has something for everyone from drink specials for the happy hour hunter, games for the entertainment enthusiast, employment opportunities for the busy bartender, and new networks for the productive professional.
