In conversations surrounding skincare, proper skin health knowledge and appropriate practices can often get lost amongst targeted marketing and beauty-centric ideals. Skincare in popular media can be largely misleading to promote products over practice and results over process, simplifying what it takes to understand proper care for an individual’s unique skin concerns. It is also often mass-marketed towards certain audiences, making it an unfamiliar or unapproachable topic for groups of people who do not see themselves represented in the skincare community.

SKNSPACE is an inclusive educational platform that provides comprehensive skin health knowledge, step-by-step guides, and tools that empower health-conscious individuals to advance their skincare education and feel confident in their abilities to assess, manage, and monitor their personal skin health, while fostering a supportive community space that promotes connection and discussion between curious learners and licensed skin specialists.

Lily Li is an artist and designer who cares deeply about user experience, social change, and human relationships. In their free time, they enjoy traveling, cooking, devouring books, and being curious.
