They say the kitchen is the heart of the home.
Expanding that idea, could the same thing be said about a grocery market?
Can a grocery market be the heart of the community?

Although Franklinton is on track of a 10 year-long renovation plan, the resident’s issue of living in a food desert remains unresolved. The solutions is not as simple as placing any grocery market in the neighborhood. The market must provide instruction and inspiration on how to use these new resources.
Station Market provides three services, a grocery store, a gathering space, and a restaurant.
To promote inspiration, the market features a new recipe each week. Special displays with the ingredients are set up with the instructions. During the day the restaurant becomes a classroom where people can learn the new recipe. At night the restaurant opens and the new recipe is served as a dish.
