Threshold Project

Columbus is facing a housing shortage, meaning 54,000 Central Ohioans are on the verge of poverty due to housing costs. Everyone deserves a safe, affordable place to live. The Threshold Project encourages people to engage in simple acts of advocacy by bringing them bite sized information and resources to contact city officials.
The loudest voices in the affordable housing dialogue tend to be the most negative ones. An important step in approving more affordable housing proposals is showing local officials that Columbus sites do support them. The Threshold Project strives to amplify the voices of affordable housing supporters while welcoming new advocates along the way. Those interested can find quick ways to take action through threshold project.org, or they can learn more about affordable housing through our video series and interactive info graphics. By meeting people where they are, we can welcome even the busiest people to the conversation about affordable housing in their neighborhoods.
