Despite the amazing advances in the medical and non-medical world, it is amazing to think that there are still worlds undiscovered. Neurodegenerative diseases have no cures, an insufficient amount of beneficial medications, and only a handful of recognized, potentialcauses, yet they are capable of unbiased and relentless attacks on limitless victims.

THRIVE is a prevention center, flawless coupled with, an athletic club that utilizes current medical research to provide therapies for patients and prevention activities for the community.

The therapy space emphasizes the importance of disease expertise and will aim to reduce mood swings, as well as, strengthen and heal the brain. The athletic space provides an innovative workout facility emphasizing the important roles of fitness, relaxation and nutrition in the prevention of neurodegenerative diseases. These two programs come together through the use of courtyards that strategically allow one or both users to interact or, simply, view the other. This method of design intimately educates those at risk about the diseases and provides a sense of community to the patients being treated.
