High chairs have many problems with safety, comfort, and cleanliness, especially the ones people use in restaurants. There needs to be a better high chair for commercial use that satisfies both customers and restaurant owners.

Tri-Chair solves the current problems with high chairs.

Tri-Chair provides extra safety with its wide base, ideal height for the restaurant table, safety straps, and lower front leg which create less gaps between the baby and the table (or parents).

The steam bended wood parts give the structural interface, and each plastic parts are made with GFN, EVA, PP, and ABS materials for its cleanliness, durability, stability, rigidity, and efficient manufacturing processes.

Tri-Chair is designed for longevity and versatility. By rotating the seat, Tri-Chair can grow with the child. It gives three different child seating solutions for the newborn, infant / toddler, and preschooler. With Tri-Chair, it is easy to find the best fit for the child in the restaurant!

Jaehwan Lee believes that design can make people happier and is always able to bring a new and fresh perspective to design. He believes that good design is innovative, useful, aesthetic, honest, and unobtrusive, and tries to apply this to his practice. Jaehwan graduates from OSU in 2016 and will continue expanding his experience as a young designer.
