The Vesco Purée Series is a blender kit designed for enteral feeding users. including three components, a smart base, 2000 ml container, and an 1000ml container. Enteral Feeding refers to the method of feeding that uses the gastrointestinal tract to deliver part or all of a person’s caloric requirements. These users can be of all ages and may need enteral feeding for a variety of diseases or a traumatic health condition that impairs food intake, nutrition digestion, or absorption.
The main feature of the kit is the 1000 ml container, which is a traditional one meal size for kids with eternal feeding. This container includes a strap that hooks onto the side of the jar when blending then can be transformed around the bottom to create a hanging upside down jar, shown in the images. When the strap is in hanging position, it reveals a small hole that allows for air to enter in the jar to stop vacuum forming while feeding. The lid of the jar contains a removeable filter and can attach to the Vesco 40mm screw cap which fits directly to the button on an enteral users’ stomach.
