Wayfind
Lauren Moeller
Visual Communication Design, 2019
Wayfind is an interactive system of wayfinding and signage that connects people to their environments.
Utilizing user preferences and needs, each sign in the system transmits a signal to mobile devices. The mobile application will work with each sign individually to send signals to the users, allowing them to understand upcoming barriers, hotspots, traffic, construction, popular destinations and navigation services. As a whole, Wayfind provides a solution to existing signage systems that may be non-inclusive and confusing. This new system of signage and wayfinding tests and challenges existing rules, in order to cater an experience to benefit all users.
