The Wellnescape is a fresh take on the combination of a food bank and the grocery shopping experience. This space takes the negative connotation away from needing to visit the food bank, and creates a safe and uplifting environment. The addition of community areas, cooking classes, and even a lounge area make the space feel inviting to those who may be feeling uncomfortable. The Wellnescape even features a food truck, “The Wellnescape on Wheels”, that will park in the building while replenishing food to serve those in the building, and then go out into the community to provide meals to those in need who cannot come to the physical space. The main goal of this space was to create an inviting and comforting experience for the guests, who will have all the options to provide nutritious meals for them & their families.
