Studios for Art & Design Research (SADR)

The Studios for Art and Design Research (SADR) is a shared resource for all students in the Department of Art to the Department of Design at Ohio State.

Located on the 1st floor of Hopkins Hall, our state-of-the-art facilities comprise a diverse range of spaces, including the Fabrication Studio, Digital Fabrication Studio, Tool Room, and CNC / Material Storage Room. Designed to cater to the needs of both actively enrolled Art and Design students and faculty conducting cutting-edge research, our Studios serve as collaborative workspaces that encourage creativity and exploration.

Above all, we prioritize safety, ensuring a secure environment for all users. Before utilizing the Studios, every participant must undergo a comprehensive basic safety training and procedures orientation. To access and make use of these exceptional spaces, please visit the Studios for Art & Design Research Bookings page.
