Interior Design program student Susan Knapik was recently chosen as a Student-Veteran Community Advocate for Ohio State's Office of Military & Veterans Services.

Susan is one of over 2,000 student-veterans in the Ohio State community, and has a strong commitment to community service. The photo to the left is from a trip around Alaska in a Chinook helicopter, and the below photo is from the ceremony marking her promotion to Captain.

She is also a member of the veterans' service organization Team Rubicon, which was recently featured on the Katie Couric show, in connection to their deployment during Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.
