Paul is a Professor of Visual Communication Design in the Department of Design at Ohio State University, where he has also served as Department Chairperson, Graduate Studies Chair, Undergraduate Studies Chair, and Coordinator of the Visual Communication Design undergraduate program. He boasts a rich academic background, prolific writing, and influential roles within design education and professional organizations.
Their conversation focuses on the evolving role of design in society. They discuss how this design education goes beyond aesthetics and into the multidimensional nature of design, emphasizing technology, sustainability and a user-centric approach.
