Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Professor R. Brian Stone and Ohio State Design Alum Alexa Andrzejewski (VCD 2005) presented at UXWeek in August 2011. Both were main-stage speakers at this year's event in San Francisco.

UX Week is a premier user-experience design conference. Design professionals from all over the world gathered for four days of community, inspiration and skills building. Now in its ninth year, UX Week delivers new tools that can be put to use immediately, and the ability to make new friends and colleagues.

Brian's talk was titled "Stop Watching and Start Experiencing -- Web-Enabled TV." and can be viewed on vimeo.com. Alexa's talk, concerning her startup company, Foodspotting, was titled "Lessons From a UX-Driven Startup," and can also be viewed on vimeo.com.
