Jeff Haase Installation to Open in Short North

Jeff Haase, associate professor in Department of Design, will have a sizeable new installation included in the exhibition Soft Geometries, a 20th-anniversary show at Hammond Harkins Galleries in the Short North. His 20-by-20-foot piece, Sew it Seams, is crafted from “a giant sheet of industrial-strength shrink wrap,” said Haase, who collaborated on the work with Andrea Myers, assistant professor of sculpture at Kent State University at Stark.

Four MFA students in the Department of Design have had their research selected for presentation as part of the 31st annual research presentation event on March 3, 2017. The forum gives students an opportunity to present “innovative and exemplary research” across all disciplines. Cash prizes will be awarded as part of this unique opportunity.

Parking on campus can be, notoriously, a frustrating and anything-but-fun endeavor. And CampusParc is the first to admit it. That’s why the parking organization enlisted a group of 18 senior visual communication design students for help in making parking a better experience for visitors and permit holders.
