Eugene Antwi is a Master of Fine Arts student in the Digital Animation and Interactive Media (DAIM) track in the Department of Design. He earned his BA in Communication Design from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana, where he specialized in Film and Animation.

Before starting his MFA, Eugene spent several years working in Ghana's creative industry as a multimedia designer and animator. During his time as a teaching assistant in the Department of Communication Design at KNUST, he co-founded 24fps, a mentorship group created to help students develop their creative and technical skills in a resource-constrained context.

His research explores animation and immersive technologies as tools for preserving and transmitting cultural knowledge. Through this work, Eugene is interested in how emerging technologies can create new ways of engaging with cultural stories, knowledge, and traditions. His long-term goal is to become a scholar-practitioner who bridges academia and the creative industry.
