Education

  • Bachelor of Fine and Applied Arts in Graphic Design, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, 2007

Borami earned her Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has over 15 years of experience as an independent designer, project manager at a design firm, and design team leader at a tech startup in Korea. Her work includes web and brand design projects, with a focus on brand and corporate identities, collaborating with companies, schools, and government agencies in Korea and the United States. Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s degree in Design Research and Development at The Ohio State University, with a focus on advancing design education and integration of AI in Brand design. She is interested in contributing to academia in the future.

Committed to giving back, Borami has dedicated time to design work for non-profit organizations and is passionate about mentoring designers, including emerging professionals.
