- Bachelor of Fine and Applied Arts in Graphic Design, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, 2007
Borami earned her Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has over 15 years of experience as an independent designer, project manager at a design firm, and design team leader at a tech startup in Korea. Her work includes web and brand design projects, with a focus on brand and corporate identities, collaborating with companies, schools, and government agencies in Korea and the United States. Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s degree in Design Research and Development at The Ohio State University, with a focus on advancing design education and integration of AI in visual communication design.
Committed to giving back, Borami has dedicated time to design work for non-profit organizations and is passionate about mentoring designers, including emerging professionals.
