Healing Home Sanctuary is a small shelter for single women struggling with homelessness in Franklinton. Healing Home is in the old engine house no. 10 on West Broad Street in West Franklinton. The sanctuary is designed to provide the resources needed to help these women and the community create a better and healthier life for themselves.
The sanctuary is equipped with a clinic and counseling office to aid them throughout this process. For the women staying at Healing Home, they have access to a private entrance that leads them upstairs where they have a private room, shared private baths, lounge/dining areas, meditation room, a shared kitchen, laundry, and a gym. With these resources Healing Home hopes to provide a safe space that is comforting, inviting, and secure in an environment that sparks joy and motivation for these women in their time of healing.
