Honda M.C.A. Is an integrated car accessory meant to assist curbside delivery employees and customers to organize their groceries and loose items in their vehicle trunks. Honda was seeking a concept to aid in assistive cargo capabilities as it pertains to the grocery curbside experience for their future in EV and autonomous vehicle technology.
The current state of the customer experience is dealing with cluttered and unorganized cargo areas, and this was a finding that resulted from both primary and secondary research on the curbside delivery experience for both customers and employees. People deal with issues of order accuracy and item integrity once orders are packed into a vehicle. Honda M.C.A. Is there to assist customers with a seamless solution that comes as an in car accessory in the cargo area of their vehicle and helps them organize their items in their trunks without the hassle of having to use external organizers and other products. It also provides assistance and guidance for grocery employees to place bulkier and loose items in the organizer to prevent item roll around and damage to fragile items.
