How to "enroll" Collaborative Design
Each year, Collaborative Studio is offered as a vertical studio where third-year Design students enroll Design 4650 and fourth-year Design students enroll Design 5650. The section enrollments are controlled to try to balance a spread of our three design disciplines across the three majors into each section as well. Because of this, it is necessary to add a bit more complexity to the enrollment process then you might be used to.

Know your enrollment window
Enrollment windows (AKA Scheduling Appointments) are assigned by the Office of the University Registrar the Monday before Autumn Break. These assignments take into account a great number of legal, institutional, technological, and practical constraints. With this in mind, the department of design's process for determining enrollments in Collaborative Studio uses your assigned enrollment window to determine your order in the selection process.
Please determine your Enrollment Window in BuckeyeLink and take note of your assigned date and time.

Complete the Collaborative Studio Request Form
The button below will take you to the Collaborative Studio Request Form on Qualtrics. This form will give our Academic Planning Specialist all the information they need to enroll your design courses on your behalf. This is needed to ensure enrollments go smoothly and fairly in a timely manner.
This form will give you the opportunity to use a drag and drop function to rank the 6 studio options into your order of preference.
The goal is to pre-enroll your design courses before your scheduling window opens, though this might be difficult for those whose windows open on day one of the scheduling period. Do not worry. Though Gabe is but one person, they will ensure this happens smoothly so long as you can uphold your part.

Failure to meet this deadline means that it might not be possible to honor your enrollment window. Gabe will process the submission received by this date first, in order of enrollment window. After this, Gabe will go back and look for submissions received after this date.
