Moon Rush Team Wins People’s Choice Award

Web-based computer game Moon Rush, conceived by Ohio State graduate students Cheng Zhang (MFA/DAIM and Computer Science Engineering) and Sherri Larrimer (MFA/DAIM), has won the People’s Choice Award, based on public voting, in the Shoot the Moon Game Design Challenge.

Nicolas Weidinger featured in 2014 Good 100

Nicolas Weidinger (IND, 2010), was recently featured in the 2014 Good 100, on the web-site of GOOD magazine. The text from that entry is reproduced below. Nicolas has been a Research Assistant at the Institute for the Future, a non-profit research center in Palo Alto, California, since 2011.

MFA students are finalists in Game Design Challenge

MFA students Cheng Zhang (Design/CSE) and Sherri Larrimer (Design) have been chosen as (1 of 3) finalists in the Shoot for the Moon: Games for Change (G4C) Design Challenge. Associate Professor of Design Alan Price is the advisor for both students.
